Garden Walk

Growth surges now, like green fire.

The wisteria drapes gracefully, flowing like water

The lilac opens its many tiny buds

Azaleas are juicy with colour

Foliage textures make visual counterpoint

Salal berry embryos strive toward wholeness

The arbutus trees are flowering now

they drop dainty seed pods

that pepper everything,
making  you remember that Nature is alive and afoot…
just like Magic is alive and afoot…
like in the old song….

About Mori

Involved in cat rescue since the mid 70's. "A catlady's work is never done" to remedy the attitudes that cause cruelty, abandonment and neglect of animals. I believe those attitudes are a symptom of humankind's disconnection from nature.
