It’s going on two months since I lost my long-time furry friend, Parker. It’s a fact of life in animal rescue but it never gets easier. You’re going to miss that furry body and his old habits. I look for him on the steps at meal time, hopping up to the bed at bed time. But I can still feel the energy and the love that is him. That’s why I wrote that last paragraph in the present tense not the past tense.
Meditation is a practice where you deliberately change your brain waves. Different brainwave states change what you filter into or out of consciousness. According to Einstein’s First Law of Thermodynamics, energy cannot be destroyed, it can only be changed or transformed to a different form. Some brainwave states demonstrate that.
